Todd Shea

While on the east coast, Todd represented and successfully tried cases for Fortune 500 companies such as Mercedes-Benz, Firestone, and large insurance companies. This provides Todd with a different and helpful perspective when representing individual clients.
Todd's litigation and trial practice in Montana has focused on personal injury, automobile accidents, wrongful termination, construction accidents, civil rights cases, insurance coverage disputes, business litigation, and contract disputes.
Although the bulk of the cases Todd handles are in Montana, Todd handles cases outside of Montana as well. Todd is licensed to practice law in New York, New Jersey, and Washington, D.C., and is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and The United States Supreme Court.

After graduating from the University of Oregon School of Law in 2003, Katie moved to Bozeman to practice law with Goetz, Geddes & Gardner, P.C. There, she gained valuable litigation skills representing both plaintiffs and defendants in a broad spectrum of cases.
In 2007, Katie transitioned to serve as Law Clerk for the Honorable John C. Brown, Gallatin County District Judge, a position she held through 2019. Katie’s clerking experience provides her with a unique understanding of the innerworkings of the district court and a wealth of knowledge from serving in one of the busiest trial courts in Montana.
Katie returned to practice at Goetz, Geddes & Gardner, P.C. in 2020, where she resumed a busy civil litigation practice.
In March 2025, Katie joined Shea Law Office, PLLC. Katie’s practice focuses on employment, civil rights and business litigation. She represents employers and employees alike on a wide range of matters. Katie has a particular interest in standing up for clients who are victims of employment discrimination and sexual assault.
She is licensed to practice in Montana and Washington (inactive) and is admitted to practice in the federal courts of Montana and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
